Welcome to the Dementia Care Course (DCC) offered by the Institute for Dementia Care Asia. This 20 module online training equips caregivers and healthcare professionals not only with theoretical knowledge, but with practical, real-world skills that go beyond what is written in the Dementia Care book series. The scope of this program is grounded in evidence-based concepts while also drawing from actual caregiving practice, multidisciplinary experience, and person-centered care principles.

INDAK TEACHER TRAINING COURSE LEVEL 1
The curriculum integrates pedagogical principles specific to geriatric education,
the conceptual and methodological foundations of the INDAK intervention
framework, and training in basic and selected intermediate figures across the
program’s eight dance modules, with emphasis on instructional delivery.
This is an introductory teacher training course for the INDAK Program. It is designed
to equip participants with the theoretical knowledge and practical competencies
required to effectively implement the INDAK Level 1 Program with older adult
populations.
