Research. Education. Care. Community.
IDCA works across research, education, clinical services, institutional care, and community engagement.
Rather than treating these areas as separate activities, IDCA connects them to create a more complete dementia care ecosystem.

Education and Certification
IDCA provides structured education and skills training designed to strengthen the knowledge, confidence, and practical competencies of dementia care providers.
The certification program combines evidence-informed learning, practical caregiving skills, and person-centered approaches to prepare participants to provide safe, respectful, and responsive dementia care.
Training may include: understanding dementia, communication strategies, behavioral support, activities of daily living, safety and risk management, caregiver wellbeing, and practical care planning.
Research and Publication
IDCAresearch is the research arm of the Institute for Dementia Care Asia, collaborating with local and international institutions to advance research on brain health and aging in the Philippines.
Its work focuses on epidemiology, genetics, early detection and diagnosis, and non-pharmacologic interventions for cognitive impairment, with particular emphasis on approaches that are relevant, practical, and responsive to Filipino communities.
Through collaborative research and knowledge sharing, IDCAresearch aims to generate evidence that can inform better dementia prevention, diagnosis, care, and public health practice.
Community Advocacy and Partnership
IDCA works with communities, organizations, and institutions to strengthen dementia awareness, promote brain health, and improve support for older adults and their families.
Through advocacy, education, community activities, and strategic partnerships, IDCA helps build more informed, inclusive, and dementia-friendly communities.
Activities may include: awareness campaigns, community education, caregiver support initiatives, collaborative programs, and institutional partnerships.
Institutional Services
IDCA provides integrated services that support older adults, persons with cognitive concerns, families, and caregivers across different stages of care.
Our institutional services include assisted living and home-based care, INDAK brain health and movement therapy, and clinical and behavioral assessment to help address cognitive, functional, and psychosocial needs.
Through coordinated care, assessment, and therapeutic programs, IDCA aims to provide practical, person-centered support that promotes dignity, safety, wellbeing, and quality of life.
